UX / Interaction Designer IV

Tools

Figma · Prototyping · Responsive design · Content strategy alignment · Cross-functional collaboration

I contributed to the modernization of united.com, focusing on content architecture, responsive design patterns, and booking workflows. The goal was to improve clarity, consistency, and usability across devices for a high-traffic travel platform.

The Problems to Solve

United’s digital ecosystem supports complex travel planning tasks across desktop, tablet, and mobile. Inconsistent layouts, fragmented content structures, and legacy patterns created friction for users navigating booking and ancillary services.

Solution

We introduced clearer navigation structures and more cohesive layout patterns to support complex travel decisions. The updated designs reduced cognitive load and improved continuity as users moved between steps and devices.

Impact

The improvements enhanced usability and consistency across united.com, helping travelers complete booking tasks more efficiently while supporting scalable design across future releases.
